Emergency services have contained a house fire in Auckland's Mt Albert that broke out this morning.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) were alerted to the blaze on Saint Lukes Rd at about 7.10am.
In an update shortly before 10am, a FENZ spokesperson said the 15m high "fire has been contained and extinguished".
"There is one appliance still on scene damping hot spots with [a] fire investigator."

No injuries were reported, the spokesperson added.
A resident who lives 1km away from the fire told 1News earlier their house "stinks of smoke".
A police spokesperson earlier told motorists to be aware of road closures in the area — but all closed roads have since reopened.
"We thank motorists for their patience while emergency services responded to a fire in the area."
