'Substance' over style - Finance Minister reveals Budget cover

Finance Minister Nicola Willis has revealed the cover of the 2024 Budget.

It showed she's opted for a no-frills approach to the Budget's appearance.

Willis appeared with Associate Finance Minister and Hutt South MP Chris Bishop at Blue Star in Petone today, where the Budget is to be printed ahead of its release tomorrow afternoon.

Nicola Willis has ruled out any special funding for Māori, as protesters prepare to disrupt the big day. (Source: 1News)

Willis said the previous government had focused too much on "snazzy" slogans and "pretty" pictures and the new coalition Government's approach would eschew that.
