Police name victim of fatal Waikato crash

Police have named the man who died in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Waikato last week.

He was 61-year-old James Charles Parlane of Te Awamutu.

The two-vehicle crash on State Highway 3 at Ōhaupō was reported to police shortly before 2pm on Friday.

"Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time," police said. "An investigation into the crash remains ongoing."

A second person sustained minor injuries in the crash.
