Missing Auckland teen last seen going fishing found 'safe and well'

A Weymouth teen, last seen going fishing earlier this week, has been found "safe and well".

The boy was last seen at his home in Weymouth on Tuesday, leaving to go fishing in the area, police said.

This morning, police said he had been located.

"He is safe and well," a spokesperson said.

"We thank those who shared the appeal to assist with locating him."
