This week's Good Sort is Wellington man Daniel Talbot, who, for the last 10 years, has been surrounded by electronics we used to love but no longer want.

A former delivery truck driver for a second-hand shop, Talbot noticed nobody was recycling old computers and came to the decision that he would.

Now out of a charity shop, which is also part museum, Talbot sells old electronics - with the ones he can't, being recycled

"When I was a kid, I actually liked pulling apart things," he said about his passion.

The money made off the old tech goes straight to charity, with Talbot donating around $20,000. He also gives second-hand phones and laptops to those who need them.

"The plan was always to give money away," he said.
