The Warriors have some new faces included in their side as they look to turnaround a five-match winless streak against the Penrith Panthers this weekend.
Warriors coach Andrew Webster said his team are low on confidence and need to pick up their standards if they are to get back on track this season.
"We’re definitely down on confidence but we’ve got to find it to bounce back," said Webster.
Jazz Tevaga didn't shy away at the Warriors press conference today and gave his honest assessment as to how the team is feeling at the moment.
"Our confidence is a bit shot, understandable, we've had a tough period this last month and we’re not playing the way we want to play," said Tevaga.
Tevaga said a key thing for the team to help them improve and get back to winning is to pick up their standards as a squad.
"We had some honest conversations yesterday, our standards have dropped a bit and it's time for us to pick them back up to where they should be."
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak will bring up his 200th NRL appearance this weekend and said he wants to celebrate the milestone with a win.
"I’m taking it as another game, you dream of playing one, to be playing my 200th game hasn’t sunk in yet, but I think it will closer to the game."
The Warriors have had to call in some fresh faces in key roles to face the defending premiers Panthers this weekend.
Shaun Johnson is set to miss the next two games with a pectoral injury he picked up in the 38-18 loss to the Roosters.
Webster has named Te Maire Martin at halfback in Johnson’s absence while Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has been given the number six jersey. Taine Tuaupiki will cover at fullback.
It was also announced yesterday that hooker Wayde Egan has signed a two-year contract extension to stay at the club until 2027.
