Missing Hamilton woman located safe and well

"Concerns" for a Hamilton woman after she was reported missing on Monday afternoon have been allayed.

The woman was last seen at a residence on Ohaupo Rd in Glenview at around 4.30pm.

By early Tuesday afternoon, police announced the woman had been found "safe and well".

A police spokesperson earlier asked residents to check sheds and outbuildings on their properties.

In announcing the woman had been found, police thanked the public for support.
