Sophie Sabri is a music therapist working with people who have intellectual disabilities and is the country's latest Good Sort.
"Music is the language of the soul. Every single person has skills that you won't see on the outside, but once you give the person space to try something, you'll be surprised," Sabri said.
The group Sabri helps are called the Rocking Rainbows and are based in Wellington.
"It gives a voice to those who find it challenging to communicate," she said.
Rocking Rainbows have been together for three years. The group told 1News one of their highlights was playing at the Newtown festival.
