1 'Decent man with a big heart': Ponsonby shooting victim named, alleged killer dead
A former work colleague who did not wish to be identified told 1News that the victim was a "decent man with a big heart" and was always helpful. He also said he was a "typical Kiwi who loved the outdoors".
Meanwhile, the suspected gunman was found dead this morning at a rural property near Taupō. His death is currently being treated as "unexplained" Police also revealed the suspect was a member of the Killer Beez gang.
2 New school lunches approach to feed more with less — Seymour
David Seymour says the school lunch programme will feed more, but cost less with a change of approach.
The ACT leader and Associate Education Minister said it showed the Government was treating taxpayers' money with respect, and will also mean an end to "quinoa, couscous, and hummus" lunches.
"It will be more like sandwiches and fruit."
