Ex-All Black reportedly found guilty of domestic violence

Byron Kelleher played 57 Tests for New Zealand between 1999 and 2007.

Former All Black Byron Kelleher has reportedly been found guilty of domestic violence.

French media have reported that Kelleher received a suspended six-month prison sentence in a Paris court.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) said the former scrum-half has to pay a fine of $1800. He was also ordered to pay $1400 to his ex-partner.

Kelleher reportedly denied the assault, saying the claim wasn't true.

AFP said the court found Kelleher attacked his ex-partner while he was under the influence of alcohol. She claimed he dragged her down a corridor by her hair.

Kelleher was previously found guilty of domestic violence in France in 2017, where he was accused of damaging the front door of his home while drunk and attacking his partner.

He also found himself in trouble in 2009 after a brawl in Toulouse following a drink-driving collision.
