Police are searching an industrial building in the Auckland suburb of Wairau Valley this morning — believed to be the Headhunters new North Shore gang pad.
A police spokesperson told 1News that "search warrants are underway" however they could not confirm the nature of the investigation.
"As the investigation is ongoing, Police are not in a position to provide further details at this time."
Further details would be released when these were available, police said.
Neighbours told the NZ Herald they had heard "loud bangs as the armed police used flash-bang grenades to raid the industrial unit overnight".
