The first T20I between the Black Caps and Pakistan has been rained off in Rawalpindi.
New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first but heavy rain meant the start was delayed.
After waiting close to three hours, the pitch was dry enough for a five over match to be played in which two balls were bowled before the game was officially called off.
The Black Caps managed to lose one wicket in that short start, with debutant Tim Robinson being bowled out.
Both sides are using the series to prepare for the T20 World Cup.
They are scheduled to play their second T20I in the series against Pakistan on Sunday at 2.30am NZT. Rawalpindi will also host the third game before the series moves to Lahore for the remaining games.
