A man has been arrested for the murder of Hori Gage in August last year.
Police said the 31-year-old is in custody.
"Today’s arrest follows an extensive investigation by Palmerston North Police, with several people already before the Court in relation to events around Hori’s death.
"Police would like to thank the members of our community who did the right thing by Hori and his whānau, and provided us with information to assist our investigation."
Gage was a 27-year-old man from Palmerston North and a member of the Mongrel Mob.
He was shot dead in front of his children on Sunday, August 6 outside his Croydon Ave, Highbury, home.
Police revealed in November that it was believed Gage had been killed in retaliation for a gang fight, which he wasn't involved in.
