Police have referred a man's "unexplained" death in Tasman last month to the Coroner, adding officers "do not believe this death to be suspicious".
Peter Miller was found dead at a rural property on Pigville Rd, south of the Tākaka township on March 12.
"Police conducted a scene examination and a number of further enquiries including speaking to residents nearby.
"Police continue our enquiries on behalf of the Coroner," a spokesperson said today.
"Our thoughts remain with Mr Miller's family who we have remained in contact with over the course of the inquiry."
