Auckland Eastern line trains suspended, others operate with delays

Auckland trains on the Eastern line are to be suspended until the end of service tonight following an incident.

Southern line services will continue to operate, albeit with delays and cancellations.

Onehunga line services are delayed by up to 10 minutes.

In a post to X (formerly Twitter), Auckland Transport said scheduled buses are also accepting train tickets to and from all stations.

Earlier, trains on the Southern and Eastern lines were suspended at Middlemore station while emergency services respond to an "ongoing incident".

Police confirmed to 1News the incident had since been resolved.
