Auckland Transport warns commuters heading into the central city this afternoon to plan for delays, with protestors set to march.
Today’s school strike over climate was due to start at around 3.30 pm, with protestors expected to march between Parnell and Albert Park.
Auckland Transport said the march would likely cause "disruption and delays to traffic and public transport services".
A series of “rolling closures” were expected, with roads to reopening once protestors had moved on.
"No buses will be detoured, but delays to some services are expected. Check AT mobile for updates," a spokesperson said.
"Auckland Transport urges people to plan for travelling around areas that will be impacted if possible."
