One injured in incident involving 'concrete tanks' at ski area

A person has been injured in an incident “involving concrete tanks” at the Remarkables Ski Area near Queenstown.

Emergency services were called to the Kingston Road scene around 2.50pm. Police said the incident happened at a "commercial property".

Upon arrival, St John found a person with serious injuries.

The person is currently being airlifted to Dunedin Hospital in "serious condition".

WorkSafe has been notified.
