1. Winston Peters leaves NATO meeting – with a warning
Foreign Minister Winston Peters has affirmed the country's relationship with NATO after meeting with officials in Brussels.
He said New Zealand was committed to working closely with traditional partners in a "worsening strategic environment".

2. Dog euthanised after falling ill from parasite not detected before in NZ
An "exotic parasite" called babesia gibsoni has been detected in a dog in Canterbury who has now been euthanised at the request of its owners after becoming “extremely” sick.
According to Biosecurity New Zealand’s chief veterinary officer Dr Mary van Andel, the parasite is often transmitted through ticks.
3. Crew member missing from fishing boat in Hawke's Bay named
Police have named the man who went overboard from a fishing boat off the Hawke's Bay coast on Monday as Jason Hollows from Hampden, Otago.
A police spokesperson said officers have met with Hollow's whānau to update them as search and investigation efforts continue.
4. 'Abhorrent': Man fined $650 for urinating in cup on Air NZ flight
A man has been charged and slapped with a $655 fine after he urinated into a cup on an Air New Zealand flight to Sydney last year.
Australian Federal Police said officers removed the 53-year-old from the plane following reports he urinated into a cup whilst in his seat.
The former broadcaster is back with a book all about helping people prepare for ageing, titled Evolving.
"People told me that old age wasn't for sissies, so I thought I better navigate it. I think all of us want to be health and happy," said the 72-year-old.
