A California man has been arrested after allegedly taking a severed human leg from the scene of a fatal train collision last week.

HuffPost reports the man, 27-year-old Resendo Tellez, is accused of removing evidence from the site where a person's leg was severed after being fatally struck by the train in Wasco.

The arrest comes after a disturbing video of a man reportedly holding a severed body part and eating from it was shared on social media.

The man in the video held up the body part when police arrived.

Tellez was reportedly taken into custody without incident.
