One person has been taken to hospital in a moderate condition following a paraglider accident on the Kāpiti Coast this morning.
Police attended the scene at Paekākāriki shortly before midday on Saturday.
A Wellington Free Ambulance spokesperson said one patient has been transported to Wellington Hospital in a moderation condition.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has been made aware of the accident, a spokesperson said.
"The CAA is currently working with the NZ Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association to try and identified what has occurred and why."
