As the first video of Princess Catherine emerges since her surgery in January, the extent of the royals’ current PR nightmare is laid bare - even the truth won’t cut it anymore.

ONE STRANGE THING THAT HAPPENED TODAY

Russian media falsely claimed that King Charles III was dead.

The UK embassy in Moscow has been forced to deny claims that appeared in Russian media that King Charles III had died.

Russian outlets claimed Charles, who revealed recently he had cancer, had died as a result of complications, citing "media" reports.

The claim was withdrawn soon after, but only after the embassy was forced to issue a denial.
