One person has been injured following a gas leak in Auckland this afternoon.
Emergency services are at the scene on Glasgow Ave in Papatoetoe.
Fire trucks were called to a workplace following reports of a fire around 1.56pm, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson told 1News.
The fire has been extinguished, and six fire trucks remain at the scene "cooling exposed cylinders".
One person has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries, St John said.
"Inquiries are ongoing as to what occurred and the incident will be referred to WorkSafe," a police spokesperson said.
A fire investigator has been called to the scene.
Members of the public have been asked to stay clear of the area.
