Chiefs too good for Drua with clinical second half

March 16, 2024
Kaylum Boshier scored the opening try for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs moved up to third in the Super Rugby Pacific standings with a 46-29 win at home against the Fijian Drua tonight.

The Chiefs bounced back after losing last week to the Reds, scoring six tries in a high scoring affair at FMG Stadium.

The Drua didn't make it easy for the Chiefs, scoring the first try of the match and going into the break trailing by just seven points.

It was a dominant second half display from the Chiefs however, which got them over the line with solid performances all over the park.

There was a worrying sight for the Chiefs, with Anton Lienert-Brown leaving the field on a stretcher in the 64th minute with a head knock.
