Police are seeking the public's help to identify a group of people following an assault in Tauranga earlier this month.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 3 March, when a “large” group of people allegedly attacked the two victims on The Strand.

“The offenders are not known to the victims, and this attack appears to be unprovoked,” a police spokesperson said.

Today, they released some photos from the alleged incident, asking the public if they can help identify any of the people featured.
