This week's Good Sort is Taka Burton from Napier, a father who turned personal tragedy into a story of hope for others.
After Burton's son took his own life a year ago, he dealt with his grief by punching a bag in his garage.
This simple act started something quite remarkable, which has gone on to help a lot of kids in his community.
Burton now runs Shamrock Boxing from his Maraenui garage. It started small, but around 80 kids now attend sessions there.

"I try and make it their safe space," Burton said.
