Police are investigating after a man died in Auckland's Massey last night.
Officers were called to a home at about 9.20pm and found the 59-year-old man unresponsive.
"Medical attention was immediately provided however the man subsequently passed away," a police spokesperson said this morning.
"A 40-year-old man at the property was taken into custody."
He was set to appear in Waitākere District Court on Saturday charged with common assault.
