'Very dangerous' man arrested in Wellington

Police this evening announced a "very dangerous" man wanted for arrest in Wellington is now in custody.

Police had warned the public not to approach the 35-year-old.

He was thought to be in the Wellington District and had close links to the Hutt Valley, said a police spokesperson.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Hutt Valley District Court on Monday.
