Former Green Party MP Golriz Ghahraman has now been hit with a fourth shoplifting charge, police have confirmed.
It is alleged the incident took place at Standard Issue in Auckland’s Newmarket on December 22 2023. It was reported to police in late January.
Police charging documents show she's alleged to have taken a navy cardigan valued at $389.

The 43-year-old is now expected to appear in the Auckland District Court on March 20.
The first two shoplifting charges relate to incidents at Ponsonby retailer Scotties Boutique on December 21 and 23, 2023.
The third charge relates to Wellington retailer Cre8iveworkx after an incident on October 22, 2023.
Court documents show Ghahraman is accused of stealing $2060 worth of clothing from Scotties Boutique and $7223 worth of clothing from the same store on December 23. The ex-MP is also accused of shoplifting clothes valued at $695 from Cre8iveworx.
In total, the value of goods allegedly taken is $10,367.
After resigning from politics, Ghahraman said her mental health had been affected by the stresses of her job.
"This has led me to act in ways that are completely out of character. I am not trying to excuse my actions, but I do want to explain them.
"People should, rightly, expect the highest standards of behaviour from their elected representatives. I fell short. I'm sorry.
"It's not a behaviour I can explain because it's not rational in any way, and after medical evaluation, I understand I'm not well."
