A house fire in the Waitomo district of Waikato is being treated as “suspicious”, FENZ says.
Crews were called to the fire at around 3.14am, on Eketone Street in Te Kuiti.
Upon arrival, the 10 firefighters sent to the scene found the residential property's roof had caught alight.
No injuries were reported, as all the occupants were out of the building.
A FENZ spokesperson said it is now treating the fire as “suspicious”.

A fire investigator will return to the scene later today.
