Two people have been arrested after an early-morning disorder incident in west Auckland saw both hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Glendene's Scowns Way just before 2am this morning.
"Upon arrival, police located two persons known to each other with critical injuries," a police spokesperson said.
"Both were transported to hospital and are now in a stable condition with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
"Two men, aged 25 and 37, have both been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and are due to appear in the Waitākere District Court today."
Police clarified the two who were injured were the same two people appearing in court.
"As the matter is now before the Court, police are limited in further comment, however we can advise there is no wider risk to the public and police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident."
