A UK man is in “disbelief” after checking his puppy cam and discovering his wife was having an affair — and that he wasn’t the father of his daughter.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Rob Parsons said his life seemed perfect – with a new wife and a daughter he loved.
That all came crashing down, however, when a check on his dog security camera unravelled what he described as “the most outrageous Jeremy Kyle story you have ever heard”, times by “a hundred”.
The affair was exposed in June of last year when he decided to check up on his wife, who had just been at a doctor's appointment.
After not hearing from her for “hours”, Parsons said he decided to check the camera set up so the family could monitor their two dogs.
“As soon as I turned on the camera, I saw my wife sitting on the floor with our daughter on her lap on Facetime,” he said. “She was saying ‘say thank you to Daddy for buying you the presents yesterday’ then was saying ‘are you showing Daddy your present’.
Parsons said he watched the video “probably 100 times” while at work, “checking what she said”.
Livid with his discovery, the man confronted his wife. She claimed that “the baby calls everyone daddy”.
Parson said his wife would continue to deny the affair until he completed a DNA test – which confirmed he was not the father.
He said: “What has happened... You couldn’t make it up.”
He said he still misses the little girl “like mad” and was devastated by the revelation.
When approached by the Daily Mail, the woman declined to comment.
