Emergency services were called to extinguish a shed on fire at one of Inghams' chicken farms in Matamata earlier today.
The services were called to the scene at around 10.40am, after reports a chicken shed had caught alight.
Six trucks, three water tankers and a command unit joined 40 firefighters who were deployed to the fire.
Luckily, the farm was empty at the time, as it was "in the process of being cleaned".
"All Inghams staff are safe and accounted for," Inghams said in a statement.

"There is no risk to other sheds at the site, and Inghams did not expect any impact to supply or production capacity."
Inghams was working with authorities to establish the cause of the fire.
