One dead in single-vehicle Northland crash

One person has died following a crash in Northland last night.

The single-vehicle crash in Moerewa was reported to police around 9.50pm on Wednesday.

A spokesperson said one person received critical injuries and died at the scene on Wahamiti Ln.

"Police extend our condolences to their friends and whānau at this time."

The Serious Crash Unit attended and inquiries into the circumstances of the crash were underway.
