One person has died after a crash in Titoki, Northland, this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash around 12.20pm.
"Sadly, one person received critical injuries and died at the scene," a police spokesperson said.
"Police extend their condolences to their family at this difficult time."

The serious crash unit was at the scene and inquiries into the circumstances of the crash remained ongoing.
