Taneatua children reported missing 'located safe'

Three children reported missing from the Tāneatua area have been located safe.

In a post to Facebook, Bay of Plenty & Taupō police said thanked members of the public who provided information to assist in locating the children.

The children were earlier reported missing after a overnight search.

Police confirmed to 1News the search was ongoing, but this has since concluded.
