Tenacious D announce two NZ shows

Comedy rock duo Tenacious D have announced they will be bringing their Spicy Meatball tour to New Zealand.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass, who make up the duo, will play two gigs in New Zealand – in Wellington and Auckland.

Known for songs like Tribute and Kickapoo – the band will play at Wellington’s TSB Arena on Wednesday July 24 and Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday July 26.

“Tenacious D remains the Greatest Band That Ever Played on Planet Earth, selling out shows worldwide,” they said in a statement.

“Don’t miss the one and only Tenacious D, when they return to Australia and New Zealand this July!”

Fans can buy tickets via Frontier Touring, with presales available now.
