The Basin Reserve is officially sold out more than a month before the first Test between the Black Caps and Australia in Wellington, starting February 29.
NZ Cricket this afternoon confirmed all tickets for the first four days of the Test series had been snapped up following unprecedented demand.
The second Test at Hagley Oval in Christchurch from March 8 is also heading for a sell-out, with limited tickets remaining.
The final two T20 internationals against Pakistan in Christchurch recently were also sold out.
Wellington fans still have the chance to buy tickets to see the Black Caps this summer with the opening match of the T20I series against Australia at Sky Stadium on Wednesday, February 21, before the series moves to Auckland for the Eden Park double-header on Friday night (February 23) and Sunday afternoon (February 25).
TVNZ, which has been exclusively broadcasting this summer's cricket, has also been enjoying strong viewership ratings.
NZC commercial general manager Chris Smith said: “Following four out of five sold-out matches for the Pakistan series, and the first game at Eden Park seeing 20,000 plus fans, it’s clear the fans are enjoying the product,” he said.
“A packed venue always creates a special atmosphere for fans and players alike, and I know it certainly gives our Black Caps an edge as the home side.
“I'm sure with more full-houses in store, Kiwi fans will get to enjoy the game-day experience and all the drama and excitement an Australia series provides.
"Our message to the public is to get in quick to secure a ticket to the remaining matches."
Day five Test tickets are only released if required at the end of the fourth day.
