A man has been charged following a crash at a Santa parade in Auckland's Avondale on November 25 last year.
The crash left at least two people injured after a Burger Fuel-branded car reportedly hit a brass band.
Inspector Alisse Robertson said in a statement this morning a 45-year-old man has been charged with two counts of careless driving causing injury.
The man is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on March 4 2024.
Robertson said police investigated allegations of assaults taking place following the initial crash.
“Despite extensive enquiries for CCTV, video footage or independent witnesses, we have not been able to corroborate these reports,” she says.
“As such, police have concluded our enquiries into this incident and we have advised all parties concerned.”
