A US woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to steal a trolley full of Stanley water bottles and tumblers.
According to new site NPR, police in Roseville, California, responded to a call on January 17 after the woman allegedly refused to stop for retail staff who saw her take "a cart full of Stanley water bottles without paying for them", the Roseville Police department Facebook page said.
Roseville police said the woman filled the boot of her car with the merchandise and fled the scene, however an officer spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
The Sacramento woman, 23, was arrested for grand theft, and local police said a search of her car produced 65 Stanley products, totalling up to NZ$4100.
"While Stanley Quenchers are all the rage, we strongly advise against turning to crime to fulfil your hydration habits," the Roseville Police department Facebook page said.
