Family concerned for man missing in Christchurch

Canterbury police say the family of a missing 43-year-old man is worried as he hasn't been heard from for days.

Police are now appealing for the public's help to find the man, named as Mark Wanhalla.

A police spokesperson said: "He hasn't been heard from since Saturday night, and his family have concerns for his wellbeing.

"Mark is likely to be in the Christchurch or Rolleston area."

People with information are urged to contact 105, citing 240122/9980.
