Over 100 cows escape Melbourne farm, roam suburban streets

More than 100 cows escaped a farm and roamed the streets of Melbourne's south overnight.

Nine News said the herd roamed the streets of Pakenham after escaping a farm around 4am.

It took police more than four hours to round them up.

Residents reported seeing them walking down streets, having a rest in front yards and running down highways in the dark.
