A child is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a window near Queenstown last night.
Police said officers were called to help firefighters and St John Ambulance at 9pm after it was reported a child had fallen from a window.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said it sent an ambulance, helicopter, first response unit and a rapid response unit to the Lake Hayes incident.
The child was taken by ambulance to Lakes District Hospital in a serious condition.
