American star Coco Gauff has eased into the quarterfinals of the ASB Classic after a straight sets victory over Brenda Fruhvirtova, of the Czech Republic.
The top-seeded Gauff proved to be a class above, winning 6-3, 6-0 inside 90 minutes at ASB Tennis Arena this afternoon, consistently breaking serve and not giving her opponent an inch.
One thing Gauff would like to tidy up would be her serve - she double faulted four times against Fruhvirtova.
Gauff will play the winner of Lulu Sun and Vavara Gracheva later this week.
