Police are concerned for the wellbeing of a man missing since December 6.

Jesse Johnson, 32, was reported missing on Christmas Eve but hasn't been seen for three weeks.

Police said inquiries have been ongoing to find Johnson after he travelled from Hamilton to Auckland on December 6.

It's believed the last sightings of him were in the Muriwai area.

Anyone who has seen Johnson or has information on his whereabouts is urged to call police on 111, quoting file number 231224/8496.
