A rescue helicopter had to fly a man to hospital in a "serious condition" after he fell off a cliff in northern Auckland.
Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew were called to Ti Point at 4.25 yesterday afternoon to assist the man.
"He needed to be extracted by winch and was flown to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition," a spokesperson said.
Later in the evening, rescue helicopter crew were also called to Wainui after a man in his 60s was involved in a quad bike rollover.
Crew arrived at 7.15pm, and he was flown to North Shore Hospital in a "serious condition".
