Fog has disrupted flights in and out of Nelson Airport this morning.
Four departures and four arrivals have been cancelled, affecting flights to and from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
Air New Zealand head of flight operations Hugh Pearce said that weather caused three flights to be cancelled.
"However, Air New Zealand is reaccommodating affected customers by adding additional flights from Auckland, Blenheim, Wellington and Christchurch, as well as a bus service, ensuring they get to their destination in time for Christmas today.
"We’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while we work through this weather disruption."
