Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel has been accused of sexual battery in a lawsuit filed by his former assistant.
Asta Jonasson alleges Diesel forced himself on her in a hotel suite in Atlanta and masturbated in front of her in 2010, ignoring "clear statements of non-consent".
She claims Diesel forcibly grabbed her, groped her breast and kissed her, and that Diesel "pinned her against the wall with his body" after she "screamed and ran towards the nearby bathroom".
Jonasson is suing Diesel, his company One Race Productions, and Diesel's sister Samantha Vincent for sexual battery, creating a hostile work environment, negligent supervision and wrongful termination, among other claims.
The former assistant claimed Vincent called her hours after the alleged assault and terminated her employment.
"No one is too famous or powerful to evade justice," Claire-Lise Kutlay of Greenberg Gross LLP, attorney for Jonasson, wrote in a statement shared with CNN.
"We hope her courageous decision to come forward helps create lasting change and empowers other survivors."
Diesel, 56, has appeared in dozens of films and has been the face of the Fast & Furious franchise for more than two decades. He has been married to Fast & Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez since 2007 and the couple have three children.
