A missing man who left his vehicle on Mt Pirongia last week has been found dead.
David Huggan had left his ute at the top of Sainsbury Rd near the Waikato summit on Tuesday, December 12.
His body was discovered by a search and rescue member late last week, police said.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the coroner," a spokesperson said.
"Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this time."
