A woman has been arrested and charged over the alleged theft of a truck containing 10,000 Krispy Kreme doughnuts from a petrol station in Sydney last month.
The van had been parked on Pennant Hills Rd in Carlingford when the suspect drove off with the sweet treats around 3.30am on November 29.
The stolen bounty was worth around AU$40,000 (NZ$43,000).
Police found the van abandoned at a car park in Parramatta on Friday, December 8 and the donuts were destroyed.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested yesterday morning at St Marys Railway Station.
She was taken to Penrith Police Station where she was charged with take-and-drive conveyance without consent of owner, driving a motor vehicle during disqualification period and travelling or attempting travel without valid ticket.
She was refused bail to appear before Penrith Local Court.
