State Highway 2 at Upper Hutt reopens after serious crash

State Highway 2 in Upper Hutt has reopened following a serious crash this morning.

Police said the single-car crash occurred at 6.45am at Timberlea, Upper Hutt.

One person was taken to hospital in critical condition but are now stable.

A second person received serious injuries.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
